Bazza Ranks reworks the Blackbox classic

35 years after Blackbox's Everybody Everybody became a dancefloor anthem, Bazza Ranks brings it back to life with a reworked version that's much more than a simple cover. With new lyrics and fresh production, he has stayed true to the essence of the original but brought renewed energy, reimagining the track as a Nu-Disco stomper with funked-out bass, a vibrant horn section and piano hooks. Dublin-based Leavy is responsible for writing and delivering the new soulful vocals. She does this with a sublime and classy performance, enhancing the anthemic feel that made the original so iconic.

The extended version is crafted with DJs in mind, delivering a dancefloor-friendly arrangement that allows the track to develop and build throughout the track. Bazza Ranks' Everybody Everybody is a celebration of a timeless classic, bringing it up to date and creating something that feels both nostalgic and brand new.

Bazza Ranks: "I've always loved the original and wanted to make something that tips the cap at the original but would also fit onto a modern Disco/House dancefloor. I enlisted the help of some amazing musician friends on this and of course fellow Dubliner and class vocalist; Leavy. They all did amazing work on the track and I hope it pays homage to the original whilst having more than a touch of original merit to the production."
